Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or hiring Maine Lawn & Landscaping for any service, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Services Description

Maine Lawn & Landscaping provides residential and commercial lawn care and landscaping services including, but not limited to:

  • Lawn mowing, edging, and trimming
  • Spring and fall cleanups
  • Garden bed maintenance and mulching
  • Leaf removal
  • Bush and hedge trimming
  • General landscaping and yard maintenance

Specific services, scope, and timelines will be outlined in your individual quote or service agreement.

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are provided based on the information available at the time of the estimate, including the size and condition of the property. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued.

If we arrive at your property and discover conditions that differ significantly from what was described (e.g., overgrown areas, debris, or terrain issues), we may need to adjust the price. We will always discuss any changes with you before proceeding.

Prices may vary seasonally and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been agreed to in writing. We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and major credit cards.

For recurring service agreements, invoices are sent after each visit or on a monthly billing cycle, as agreed upon. Late payments may incur a fee after 30 days past due.

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans change. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

For recurring service contracts, either party may cancel with 7 days' written notice.

Property Access

By scheduling a service, you grant our crew access to your property to perform the agreed-upon work. Please make sure:

  • Gates are unlocked or access instructions are provided in advance.
  • Pets are secured or kept indoors during service.
  • Vehicles, toys, hoses, and other items are cleared from the work area.

If we are unable to access your property at the scheduled time, a return trip fee may apply.

Liability

Maine Lawn & Landscaping carries general liability insurance. We take every precaution to perform our work safely and professionally.

We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions on your property, including but not limited to: underground utilities not marked prior to service, irrigation lines, shallow roots, or structures hidden beneath overgrowth.

Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the cost of the specific service in question.

Damage Policy

If our crew accidentally damages your property during service, please notify us within 48 hours. We will inspect the damage and work with you on a fair resolution, which may include repair or replacement at our expense.

We are not liable for damage to items left in the work area (sprinkler heads, garden decorations, toys, etc.) that were not identified before work began.

Weather Delays

Lawn care is weather-dependent. If rain, storms, or other severe weather prevents us from completing your scheduled service, we will reschedule at the earliest available time at no additional cost. You do not need to call us — we will reach out with a new time.

During extended wet periods, service may be delayed by several days. We appreciate your patience and will always keep you informed.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
